The advantages of large modulus, light weight and metal saving can reduce the building structure by 30-40%. In addition, because the inner and outer sides of the legs are parallel, and the legs are at right angles, they can be assembled into structural parts, which can save welding and riveting workload by 25%. It is often used for brackets and foundation piles in large buildings with large bearing capacity and good section stability. The flanges of ordinary I-beams and light-duty I-beams gradually thin from the root to the edge, with a certain perspective. Because their section size is relatively high and narrow, the moment of inertia of the two main sleeves of the section is relatively different. Therefore, they are usually only used for structural members bent in the plane of the web or to form a lattice structure. Stressed structural parts. It is not used for axial compression structural parts or structural parts that are also bent perpendicular to the plane of the web, which is also very limited in the scope of its application.
