Project Background
Indonesia is a typical tropical island country with year-round high temperatures and abundant rainfall in the rainy season. In response to the growing demand for eco-tourism and efficient office space locally, the client required a building solution featuring fast delivery and strong adaptability to extreme weather conditions.
WELLCAMP customized a composite building space formed by connecting multiple knock-down container units. It not only meets the demand for large-span indoor space, but also perfectly adapts to Indonesia’s natural environment through targeted structural optimization.

Adopts high-density thermal insulation rock wool sandwich panels to effectively block heat conduction.

The knock-down structure greatly reduces sea freight costs. On-site manual assembly is fully supported without the need for large hoisting equipment.

The intermediate partition walls are omitted in the connecting design to create a spacious and bright indoor environment, ideal for multi-person office use or luxury suite layout.

Constructed with galvanized steel structure and finished with advanced baking paint and powder coating for intensive anti-corrosion treatment, effectively resisting building erosion caused by Indonesia’s humid climate.

- Large-space Connection of Knock-down Units
The core highlight of this project is the horizontal connection of multiple knock-down containers. Precise modular assembly creates a barrier-free elongated large indoor space with an open view. The floor is paved with high-quality oak SPC flooring, creating a professional yet warm atmosphere.
- Climate-adaptive Additional Roof
Considering Indonesia’s heavy rainfall and intense sunlight, an additional gable roof is specially designed for the project. This double-layer roof structure greatly improves drainage efficiency and forms an air circulation layer above the original roof, further enhancing thermal insulation and effectively reducing indoor air conditioning operating costs.
- Functional Louver Window Design
Adjustable dark-toned louver windows are installed in the bathroom area. While ensuring privacy, the design improves natural ventilation, perfectly fitting living habits in tropical regions and preventing indoor stuffiness and humidity.
- Complete Bathroom Supporting Facilities
The project integrates complete public and private bathroom systems inside. It adopts simple and durable partition materials matched with high-quality sanitary ware. The combination of exhaust fans and louver windows ensures a dry and well-ventilated sanitary space.
