Industry development status of the container market
At present, my country is one of the top manufacturers of containers in the world, and has created three world tops in this field of production. my country’s annual container production capacity has reached 5.8 million TEU (standard containers), which ranks among the best in the world; the specifications and varieties of production containers are among the best in the world. There are more than 900, which can meet various transportation needs; the production and sales of containers are among the best in the world. The world's production and sales of containers are 3.92 million TEU, of which my country's container production and sales have reached 3.74 million TEU. After the financial crisis, the global container freight volume cannot restore the past prosperity overnight, but tends to recover slowly. In November 2010, the volume of containers in the United States increased by 14.2% compared to the same period last year when it was at a very low level in 2009. However, this is also the third consecutive month that the container volume has fallen below the level of the same period in 2008. Calculated by teu, the volume of containers in the United States in November fell slightly by 0.9% compared to October, but increased by 14.23% compared to November 2009. In terms of the number of containers, the volume of containers in November increased slightly by 0.2% compared with October, and increased by 14% compared with the same period last year. In addition, since 2010, based on the number of cases, the volume of cases has increased by 14.2% compared with 2009, but has dropped slightly by 1.2% compared with 2008. In the same period, based on teu, the volume of containers increased by 15.9% year-on-year, but dropped by nearly 1% compared to 2008.
