Although half of 2020 has passed, the global COVID-19 epidemic is still severe. In order to respond to medical needs under special circumstances, the construction company [WZMH Architects] designed an intelligent testing and sequencing point for COVID-19. The civic care cabin combines technology and modular design and was created in less than a month by a multidisciplinary team composed of Canadian WZMH Architects and PCL Architects, Insight Enterprises and Microsoft. The project aims to create a customized mobile test unit to help reopen the economy, integrate technology and modulation, and seek to provide support for the government, companies and communities to resume production and work. The use of modular buildings, convenient transportation and rapid completion of use, allows testing for COVID-19 outside of public laboratories, such as in a crowded environment, with the purpose of assisting in testing, screening, and eventually large-scale vaccination . [Citizen Care Pod] is a 6-meter or 12-meter long control pod equipped with 4 to 10 test stations, which can physically separate patients and healthcare personnel. The unit is fully equipped with medical equipment and home appliances, and can be quickly delivered and installed through transportation and hoisting, which is highly adaptable.
