Tailored Camp Solutions to Meet Custom Needs.
Container homes, especially those engineered by WELLCAMP, are designed with a strong focus on structural safety and are widely used in demanding environments such as remote camps, disaster relief housing, and industrial projects. From a structural mechanics perspective, they provide reliable performance in wind resistance, seismic resistance, fire safety, and electrical protection when properly designed and installed.
The structural system combines bolted connections with sandwich panel wall systems, allowing external forces to be dissipated through controlled deformation. This enhances energy absorption and overall stability. The structure can achieve wind resistance up to Grade 10 and seismic resistance up to Grade 8, making it suitable for earthquake-prone regions such as Indonesia and Chile.
Wall panels can use non-combustible rock wool as the core insulation material. In the event of fire, the structure does not support flame spread and does not release toxic smoke, helping to improve evacuation time and safety performance, particularly in high-temperature environments such as desert regions.
The galvanized steel enclosure acts similarly to a Faraday cage. When properly grounded, lightning current is safely conducted into the earth, reducing risks to both occupants and internal electrical systems.
The modular bolted installation method reduces the use of adhesives, achieving zero formaldehyde and zero pollution during installation. It also eliminates on-site cutting, significantly reducing dust and construction waste.
